Top 10 Place in Mathura to Visited (with Photo) 2018

1. Sri Krishna Janmasthan


 Shri Krishna Janmbhoomi is a Hindu temple in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
 The birthplace of Shri Krishna is one of the most reverred temples for Hindus. the prison like structure in the temple is told to be the place where Lord Krishna was born. the temple is well maintained. No electronic items (including mobile phones, car remotes, coins etc) are alloewd in the temple - you can safely deposit all items in the cloak room at all temple gates. No eatables allowed. The main temple opens early around 5 AM till 12 noon and then closes to reopen around 4 PM. the prison area is however open all the time in the day. The temple is said to have been destroyed and rebuilt 17 times in its history. Today the temple is one of the most frequently visited temples in India.

2. Krishna Janma Bhoomi Mandir


 We visited this place quite early in the morning. Make sure to leave everythinginluggage counters before joining the queue. Apart from wallet and sling bagnothing is allowed inside. The charges are very nominal. You need to even keepyour mobile phone outside. No pics are allowed. Also do visit the cave at a nominal additional cost. Kids may love that more.


 Shri Krishna janmbhoomi is a temple built around the prison cell where Krishna is said to be born. The temple is said to be destroyed and rebuilt 17times. One can witness the mughal invasion in the construction of the temple tower. The prison cell - The Krishna janmasthan will give us the opportunity to visualize the ordeals devaki underwent to give birth of Lord Krishna.  They have a sound show depicting the Krishnalila inside a cave. But getting a ticket to view that takes longer than seeing it. The cloakroom is always overcrowded. The temple should make some alternate arrangements to speed up the process. 

3.Banke Bihari Temple


 A nice temple to be at if you have some time to spare. The temple was decorated with a lot of floral garlands, and people were singing bhajans inside. The temple is clean.
If you come here to see the cleanliness and systematic lines and arrangement then you are at a wrong place. This place is kiosk but if you want inner peace then this is the place. If you can connect ignoring the kiosk around then its Devine .
People were so excited to see Krishna, moving their hands in air in order to try capturing Krishna’s attention towards them, singing prayers, dancing with a very different satisfying smile on their faces.

4. Dwarkadhish Temple

 


 The Dwarkadhish temple, also known as the Jagat Mandir,r, located in the heart of Dwarka.This is very old temple of shrew Krishna. Must visit with family. Old temple. Plan your visit in early morning. During this time crowds is less.

This is a very good temple. We took part in an arathi there and it was very good. Its very close to Vishram Ghat.

We were on a flash trip to Delhi, Mathura, Vrindavan. Decided to visit Dwarkadhish Temple. I loved the narrow roads with tiny shops stuck together, so much color!
Negotiating through crowd,open drain & traffic was awful. Architecture of those old houses, temples enroute the temple could have been preserved, that would have enhanced the beauty of the Bazaar.

5. Barsana Shri Radha Rani Temple


This temple is situated in Barsana which is a part of mathura district. Being located at a hill top, one will have to climb certain stairs say about 100 to reach the temple. It is must watch when anybody is in mathura - vrindavan. 

This temple is located at the outskirts of main city. Now a days two wheeler facility is available for the ones who can't climb stairs. Famous govardhan parvat is hardly at a 20 kms distance from this place. One can also try to do govardhan parikrama of that parvat. 

 This place is famous for celebrating Holi. One should visit this place in March/April and experience with drinking bhaang.This is a birthplace of Radhaji. Temple was beautiful and on top of small hill. Surrounding area was attractive. 

6.Prem Mandir - Shyama Shyam Dham

Very beautiful temple. Beautiful architecture and lawns. The sound and light show in the evening is spectacular. Be careful of pick pockets

Prem Mandir is a Hindu temple in Vrindavan, Mathura, India.
The foundation stone was laid by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. 
It is a beautiful temple to visit in vrindavan. Especially in the evening it is full of colourful lights.
A temple on the top of the hill in Barsana, dedicated to Radha Rani, which is maintained by a family which owns the temple. Barsana is the birth place of Radha.

7.ISKCON Vrindavan


This temple is mainly for Lord Krishna and his elder brother Balram. There's a great restaurant and confectionary as well. Aarti timings are the best times to visit. Typically there's mangla aarti around 4:30am in the morning, then shringar aarti around 7am, Raj bhog aarti around 12pm, sandhya aarti around 6:30pm and shayan aarti around 8pm.

Today, the Sri Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir is a booming spiritual center. I love vrindavan. my first visit to vindavan was in January 2010. since then every year i go to virndavan in the month of Kartic. vrindavan is so lively during kARTIC MONTH. specially prayer at Isckon temple is so awesome.

8. Krishna Balaram Mandir


Took visit in Krishna balaram temple. temple was beautiful and well maintained. This temple was made with white marble and look beautiful.
Krishna Balaram temple was very beautiful temple. We have took its visit during our Mathura trip. Peaceful temple made with white marble.
Sri Krishna-Balaram Mandir is a Gaudiya Vaishnava temple in the holy city of Vrindavan.

9. Radha Kund

 Radha-Kund s a town and a nagar panchayat in Mathura district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. 
This is the kund appeared by the mercy of radha rani, later nicely built by Vajranabh, great grandson of lord krishna 5000 years back. founded again by chaitanya mahaprabhu 500 years back. all glories to this holy place.

There are two kunds/lakes adjacent to each other; one is called Shyam kund and the other is called Radha kund; pilgrims come from all over the world to experience the spiritual serenity of this place. Located on the extreme end of Goverdhan parikrama, it is a place of esteemed importance to those who are looking for spiritual connection.

10. Vaishno Devi Dham


This temple is situated on the Vrindavan main road. The statue is awesome. It look beautiful in the night.
Maa Vaishno Devi an opportunity to worship their Goddess and serve the poor along side.  Maa Vaishno Murti (standing at an impressive height of 141ft from ground level), Devi Mandir, Darshan Gufa, Bhojanalaya, Free Dispensary, Dharamshalas, Spritual Hall etc.
This holy place situated in Vrindavan dist mathura u.p. near national Highway.this is a must see place.the statue of goddess Durga is beautiful.which can be seen from road.
